PRIVACY
How Revy uses your information.
Revy is operated by REVY FINANCIAL PTY LTD. Contact help@revy.com.au about your account, records or privacy.
Your free quick check
Before sign-in, Revy saves the name you enter, postcode, selected service, bill amount and frequency, and the information needed for that check. This can include energy usage, internet or mobile requirements, and the vehicle, property, household or pet details and cover information you enter. Revy also saves the sources checked and results. A temporary cookie links your browser to the saved check. Anonymous access and the cookie expire after seven days.
The quick check does not ask for an email address or full service address. If you sign in and save the check to your account, it becomes part of your account records.
Your account and bills
A Revy account stores your email address, name, a salted password hash and private sign-in sessions. Revy does not store your plain-text password. If you use a connected Google or Apple sign-in option, the provider supplies an account identifier and the profile details you approve. Existing platform sign-ins remain supported for their original account records. Your records can include the service address, postcode, customer type, retailer, plan, distributor, usage, rates, supply identifiers and bill files.
We also record confirmed details, messages, preferences, permissions and activity. For a business service, that includes the business bill and contract information you provide.
Other household bills
Saved broadband, mobile and insurance checks can include the inputs and results above, provider details, permissions, messages and review updates. Revy does not send your check inputs to public plan sources or an insurer to obtain a personalised quote. These requests do not create a paid energy membership or send an application to a provider.
Address suggestions
When you type an address or search for a suburb outside the locally held postcode matches, Revy sends the search text to Photon, which uses OpenStreetMap address data. Selecting a suggestion fills the address fields. You can enter your address manually. Revy does not save address search queries or results. Short-lived request limits use rotating keyed network identifiers.
Service updates
Updates appear in your private account. If you enable service emails, Revy can use Resend to send an account-update notice to your sign-in email. Email notices link to the account and do not include your bill files or detailed comparison. Settings controls optional service emails and marketing separately.
Comparisons, applications and guarantee records
Revy stores bill inputs, selected retailers, source-plan snapshots, calculation dates, assumptions, results and staff reviews. For a supported application, we keep offer versions, the exact permission approved, its date and scope, provider evidence and progress updates.
Subscription records include the selected product, billing option, accepted price and terms. Guarantee records connect the purchase threshold, initial bill timing, first eligible result and any refund request. Uploading a bill does not authorise an energy change.
Storage and access
Quick-check inputs, account information, comparison records and service activity are stored in Cloudflare D1. Uploaded bill files are stored privately in Cloudflare R2. The server checks ownership before returning account records or a bill file.
The restricted operations workspace gives Revy access to review records, reply and resolve cases. Hosting, storage and sign-in providers process the information needed to operate the service.
Payments and provider applications
Stripe hosts subscription checkout and payment-method management. Revy does not collect or store your full card number or security code. Billing records can include Stripe customer and subscription references, payment periods, consent and invoice information.
For an approved energy application, Revy shares the necessary information through the verified provider process within the permission given for that specific offer. A different offer or missing authority needs to be resolved before proceeding.
Access, correction and deletion
View your records in your account. Settings includes an account-information export and a deletion-request option. Email help@revy.com.au or use account Help to ask for corrections or an explanation of how information is used.
A deletion request withdraws permission to review new information and goes to Revy for follow-up. We explain any records needed to resolve an outstanding matter and confirm the outcome. Cancelling a subscription and requesting deletion are separate actions.
